all i've ever owned have been mopars / chrysler.

my current 2016 300S is an amazing car in every way. yea, it's a hemi. but i've had the magnum, (2) 01 1500 Sport Quad Cabs (both black), a mirada, several jeeps and it all started with a 74 plymouth satellite.

never really have had major issues. the dodges of course have dashboards like a prom queens ego and break just as easily. i've rebuilt my 2nd 01 sport and have had sue (fast n loud) redo the interior completely, new engine, new front end, new paint job...it's my baby.

all that said, toyotas are great trucks. i think the current knock is that they're no longer the best out there but still priced as if they are. but you've still got a great truck if it was taken care of and you continue to do that. that part is huge. i know some that have no idea oil is supposed to be changed and drive it like people did the prom queen to give her those complexes.

but since fiat is now the boss, i may go ford. my dad was heavy into GM but i just can't do it. but i am glad to see the new vette.

I use to love Ford trucks and I grew up driving Mopar...I had a Road runner in High school...they were great back then but over the last couple of decades all three of our American auto manufacturers have put out nice looking crap....cheap parts seemingly put together without thinking....you have to remove half the engine to get to the area that needs repair and from what I've seen they are always in the shop...the Ford windstar was an absolute joke and the new Ford transit goes through rear ends in less than 15000 miles...the web is full of Ford mechanics complaining how they can't keep rear ends in today's Fords....I did a ton of research before I bought my Toyota Tundra 8 cyl and it has not let me down once....Of course I'm just one guy with one opinion but that's been my experience....
