If Sebelius knew about this report, the usurper certainly knew about it. I’ll bet Pelosi and Reid knew about it. They all deserve jail time.

Gateway Pundit

A damning health care report generated by actuaries at the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department was given to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the health care vote. She hid the report from the public until a month after democrats rammed their nationalized health care bill through Congress.

The results from the report were troubling. The report released by Medicare and Medicaid actuaries shows that medical costs will skyrocket rising $389 billion 10 years. 14 million will lose their employer-based coverage. Millions of Americans will be left without insurance. And, millions more may be dumped into the already overwhelmed Medicaid system. 4 million American families will be hit with tax penalties under this new law.

Of course, these were ALL things that President Obama and Democratic leaders assured us would not happen.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQZsfbLG-o8&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - Government Releases New Numbers on Obamacare Showing Costs Will Skyrocket[/ame]

The American Spectator reported, via FOX Nation:

The economic report released last week by Health and Human Services, which indicated that President Barack Obama’s health care “reform” law would actually increase the cost of health care and impose higher costs on consumers, had been submitted to the office of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the Congressional votes on the bill, according to career HHS sources, who added that Sebelius’s staff refused to review the document before the vote was taken.

“The reason we were given was that they did not want to influence the vote,” says an HHS source. “Which is actually the point of having a review like this, you would think.”

The analysis, performed by Medicare’s Office of the Actuary, which in the past has been identified as a “nonpolitical” office, set off alarm bells when submitted. “We know a copy was sent to the White House via their legislative affairs staff,” says the HHS staffer, “and there were a number of meetings here almost right after the analysis was submitted to the secretary’s office. Everyone went into lockdown, and people here were too scared to go public with the report.”

In the end, the report was released several weeks after the vote.

When Nancy Pelosi told America, “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it,” she forgot to mention that democrats already knew what was in it. They just didn’t want the rest of the country to find out.

If we had a responsible media this would make headlines for about the next year and a half.

Anyone who expected health care costs to decrease under Obamacare, to be nice, is a silly poop face.

I agree. Obama should be impeached or have the military step in and remove him for usurping the office and signing this illegal bill into law that will harm the American Citizens.

LOL Earlier today I happened to be watching foxnews when they first came out with this report. Then later in the day they made an update and I believe they stepped back from their original stance behind it.

It's funny how the right jumps on every anonymous source and despite having ZERO proof that the source is real or even being honest they run with it because they think that they can use it to attack obama.

Thanks for showing how desperate you truly are. LOL

They lied the whole way through so this is not surprising to me. Look at how they got it passed. It was an incredibly dirty process the whole way through. I think most common sense thinking Americans understand this. Partial if not complete Repeal is a real possibility if the Republicans can regain some power. Dr. Ron Paul is now proposing his 'End the Mandate' legislation. Lets hope some Democrats join Dr. Paul in at least getting rid of the mandate portion of this Bill. Full Repeal cannot happen unless the Republicans take the White House back. So first things first. Lets end the mandate.

WOW more whining from the righties. Imagine that.

Care to address how foxnews has even backed away from this report and how the spin has been shot down??

I didn't think so.

I personally don't need any reports to confirm what i already know. For one, Obamacare does nothing to address the costs of providing health care while forcing high risk patients into the health care insurance pool. The only thread of hope to hang onto as far as cost reduction goes is that the mandate forces significantly more healthy people into the pool than it does unhealthy people.

WOW, maybe I missed something fox did not back away from the report, just that they had hidden the report before the vote. I really do not care what they did with the report. Brining the bill to a vote BEFORE the complete finical analysis is almost the same as hiding the report anyway. What interests me is the actual report itself. It seems that the healthcare bill is not what it was supposed to be after all. Rising COSTS were the original crisis that Obama wanted to address and it seems costs are still going to rise. Care and try to defend that?

Face it, there is very little good that this bill is going to create. The only part that I can strongly support is the tossing of previous conditions and that has yet to be shown to be as effective as was said to be.

You talked about a story that just broke yesterday at length?? Really?? When? LOL

Foxnews reported on it jumped onit claiming that the white house and HHS hid this report based on some memo that was allegedly recieved from an anonymous source by a known to be less than honest right wing website and then foxnews backed away from the claim that the report was covered up or hid by HHS and the white house.

That pretty much says it all.

Nice spin but that fact remains that foxnews backed away from the claim that the report was hid. Spinning it to try and claim that what was done was "almost the same as hiding it" shows how desperate some people are to keep this non-issue going.

Nothing was hid, you jumped all over this just like the OP and foxnews did. however, at least foxnews had the common sense to correct themselves AFTER running with the story that it was hidden when it wasn't.

Did you even read the OP which focuses on the FALSE claim that it was hidden just as foxnews did when they first ran the story?? So of course what was actually done with the report doesn't matter to you. LOL righties usually ignore facts that don't suit their spin.

Actually, Fox reported that there was story claiming the report had been hidden prior to the vote and that they were following the story. They later reported, after talking to a source, that this was not the case.

Based on what I saw when I was watching they basically parroted the opinions of the source. then later corrected themselves and patted themselves on the back for following the story and correcting themselves. They even actually interrupted teh show in progress to talk about how it was hidden until after the vote. They were wrong as was the OP for claiming something that had already been corrected by foxnews the source of his video.

Either way it was a false claim reported by a rightwing source and then repeated on many others to the point that it was even parroted here even AFTER foxnews aired the correction..

Hey frank I see that you haven't been back to this thread

http://www.usmessageboard.com/the-flame-zone/113650-the-left-is-getting-ugly-13.html

and provided proof of your claims.

I wonder why? <sarcasm>

As I said in the thread, it's unlikely the Neo-National Socialist (aka: Progressive) perps will ever be caught because Ray "Put out a BOLO for my ass because I can't find it with both hands" Nagin is the Mayor and handling the siesta known as the "investigation"

Goldman Sachs hides facts and its a crime, the Obama Administration hides critical facts and DrSmith gets out his kneepads

The report is still there and true. THAT is what is important.

YES, voting before the full financial repercussions IS deceitful and very similar to covering it up. We all knew this would raise the price of healthcare, it was the democrats that were claiming otherwise before the evidence was fully stacked up. What YOU are posting is the spin.

Should Fox have reported a cover up... No of course not. Then again, we all know Fox is too fast on the trigger. I never supported their news casting. It is dishonest to throw out the report itself because of Fox bungling. Care to address what I actually said without the partisan glasses this time?
