The rate started going up towards the end of his term because the economy was good. That's what Obama handed Trump.
Trump, boasting the greatest economy ever, is laughable given the Federal Reserve began dropping the rate in 2019.
Still, the rate of employment growth under Trump was no better than it was under Obama. Even worse for your argument, employment growth rate has been even stronger under Biden. And while his first year and half was mostly recovering jobs lost in 2020, the last 2 years have been job creation.
And that's with a federal fund rate more than double it's highest point under Trump.
I'd wager you never once gave Biden credit for job growth with an inflated fund rate like you just did for Trump.

It doesn't line up with the reported year to year deficits.
Deficits are what matter.
Sans Covid, Biden's best is still higher (by 700 billion) than Trump' worst. And Trump did a lousy job given what Obama gave him.
Joe is on track to increase the deficit by 2.6 Trillion this year alone.

It was a simple question that you dodged, Faun. Presidents don't control the Fed. They are forced to work with the policies that the Fed imposes on them including rate increases or decreases. So what did the Fed impose on Barack Obama compared to what it imposed on Donald Trump?

As for giving credit? I'll give credit where credit is due. Joe Biden's claim that he "created" 15 million jobs is quite frankly total bullshit which I think you know only too well. The vast majority of those jobs were what are referred to as "bounce back" jobs...jobs that existed before the Covid shut downs and simply resumed after the Covid shut downs ended!

Trump can't be a "dictator", the Constitution limits his power.

I remember when Trump was President all the calls to invoke the 25th Amendment because he was supposedly mentally unfit for the office. The current President is WAY MORE of a candidate for the 25th Amendment being invoked, but the same people in the media and message boards are suddenly silent on the matter. We're wondering if Biden can still do the job for the next four years. I'm wondering if he's fit to do the job right now (outside of supposedly 10 am -4 pm).
