"NY Times Admits: Anchor Babies Benefit Hugely from Taxpayer-Funded Welfare
The United States-born children of illegal aliens and temporary visa-holders, commonly referred to as “anchor babies,” are benefiting hugely from American taxpayer-funded welfare, the New York Times admits.

In a piece detailing President Donald Trump’s goals to preserve the nation’s social safety net for American citizens, the Times admits that anchor babies — who are rewarded birthright American citizenship even as their parents have no legitimate ties to the United States — are major welfare beneficiaries whose parents will be impacted by such policy changes.

“Immigration experts and advocates for immigrant rights say the changes would instead largely be felt by children who are U.S. citizens but whose parents are undocumented or immigrants who are authorized to live in the United States, such as refugees and people granted asylum,” the Times reports:"

Republican Crackdown on Aid to Immigrants Would Hit U.S. Citizens
The Trump administration’s efforts and the G.O.P.’s tax bill aim to restrict benefits for families that include immigrants without permanent legal status.

The best way to get these illegal alien families off of welfare is to deport them. They can go on welfare at home, if their home gov'ts allow them to.

I wondered how long it would take for this thread to attract those claiming there is no such thing as anchor babies. It took a whole 20 minutes. That might be a record for delay. :)

How did it feel being able to maintain your delusions for 20 minutes?

Are American babies born to legal green card holders, now Anchor babies to you?

How? Their baby is not anchoring them to the USA, their green card has invited them to the USA and invited them to become citizens after 5 years living here, if they wish.... without having an American born child....???

The racist and corrupt Democrat Party is dying.
Therefore their plan is to illegally import millions of poor uneducated third world peasants who will vote Democrat for all of the welfare benefits.

I'm giggling Pknincompoop stating illegals don't get welfare. What a dope
Illegals, and non citizens on a green card generally also, don't qualify and are not eligible for Welfare, TANF.

Their American born child as a citizen, might get it....if they qualify like any other American child.

noted, it even notes only after obtaining a legal status.

You are obviously easily led
