The founders also believed in mandatory quarantines during a pandemic. They did so in the 1700s. Bit smarter than conspiracy kooks, those fellows were so ahead of their time!
There is a difference between quarantining sick people and healthy people.
Actually, there isn’t.
During the Polio epidemic, whole families were quarantined whether all members had polio or not.

Thanks.
You have just exposed the illogical and transparency of the tyranny of the government's response. It isn't about the disease, it is about control.
First, comparing COVID to Polio, is akin to comparing the Flu to Ebola or the bubonic plague, you are being patently silly, and showing that you haven't researched the statistical virulence and deadliness of any of these diseases.
Secondly, if the government actually thought this disease were half as deadly as it were, it would quarantine folks in their own homes, not wanting to risk government workers and health-care resources to possible infection by moving them to some alternative location.
And finally, if you read that legislation, you would understand, this not only applies to COVID, but it now applies to any and all communicable diseases, even ones that come after, including colds, flues and whatever else the government may want to consider. Absurd.
. . . thus, showing once again, that you either have no capacity for critical thinking, or you are just a shill.
Thanks for playing though.
