That would because the NRA posts truth while the folks you quote post crap.
Using an idiotic definition of "gun deaths" is a fine way to try to make something out of nothing. Lies and bullshit does not debunk truth. "Murder" or "violent crime" has meaning; "gun deaths" does not. "Homicides" may include self-defense, police shootings, accidents (including hunting accidents), and suicides while excluding highly gruesome and violent death by other means. Who cares if death by gun decreases while murder by all means skyrockets?
