I think there's a difference between illegal aliens who are violent criminals, illegal aliens who haven't committed any crime outside being in the country illegally, and people who are legally present in the United States when paroled while seeking asylum or have temporary protected status.

This administration sent people to the gulag regardless of what category they fell in. In fact, most of the people sent to the gulag had no criminal record, let alone a violent criminal record.

Over 80% of the people you sent to the gulag had no criminal conduction.

46 of them hadn’t broken any laws, requesting amnesty at our border or having temporary protected status.

Sending them to a gulag, with no due process to be detained indefinitely, is cruelty.

If you say that wasn’t a mistake, it just shows that the cruelty is the point.
