Now Trump wants help from allies, allies fed up with Trump say "no"

Now lefties hate the UNITED NATIONS. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

The United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 2231 on July 20, 2015, endorsing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program. This resolution set out an inspection process to ensure Iran does not develop nuclear weapons.

Lefties, make sure you criticize the Islamaphobia of the UN.

You have it backwards.
MAGA hate the JCPOA and those who wrote it, endorsed, it or supported it.

"Trump calls for allies to help secure Strait of Hormuz as Iran vows to step up retaliation"

So, Trump went off on one criticizing tradition US allies, like the UK, like Spain (the only two countries to participate in the Iraq War in 2003).

Now he's finding out the consequences to his actions. These allies don't want to join Trump because they think Trump is not the sort of ally you really want.

The sadf part is that they are right. The US is no longer the ally you really want.

Answer this question. When the JCPOA was instituted, did Iran stop enriching uranium?
A better question. What happened to 95% of the Uranium Iran had already enriched?

Ans: They had to send it to a NPT country, and any future enrichment monitored by international agencies, that placed strict limits on the amount, and level they could enrich it to.

Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty states that an armed attack against one NATO member shall be considered an attack against them all.
Not if the country being attacked, started the war by attacking another country.

NATO defends it's members that are attacked out of no fault of their own.

Retaliatory attacks don't apply,

Youโ€™re a foolโ€ฆ

One of the main arguments used against the JCPOA was that it allowed Iran to continue enriching uranium and move closer to nuclear capability while remainingtechnically in compliance. The JCPOA also contained so-called โ€œsunset provisionsโ€on various aspects of the deal such as lifting limits on centrifuges after 10 years or reduced enrichment beyond 3.67% only lasting for 15 years. This led to concernsthat the deal would only temporarily delay Iranโ€™s nuclear program while preventing parties from finding a more permanent solution. Additionally, critics worried that lifting sanctions on Iran in return for the JCPOAโ€™s focus on constraining Iranโ€™s nuclear program would diminish the United Statesโ€™ ability to address other security concerns such as Iranโ€™s missile program or its funding of violent non-state groups in the Middle East.
