While the president yesterday was saying he "was in total control and would make the decisions on reopening the economy", my Red State Republican Governor was making his own declaration, that the stay at home order was being extended to the end of the month in our state, and the Smithfield Meats packaging plant in Sioux City, Iowa was announcing indefinite shut down due to 300 of it's workers falling ill, in one plant and the largest new outbreak in the country, in a state where their governor had resisted making a stay at home order. The economy will recover. Many individuals will not.
