Russia has the same supply chain interruptions and issues as the rest of the world.
And for them it's more troublesome as they have a strict "top down" authority heirchy leadership structure.

So when the generals get killed in war the troops are frozen with lack of leadership. Their supply chain interruptions grow exponentially when their generals get killed too.

While the rest of the world funnels munitions and supplies into Ukraine, the Russians have a hard time getting a ham sandwich, a tank of gas, and bullets.

Meanwhile the Ukrainians are fighting literally from their homes in their neighborhood. They know the turf. And they have a very compartmentalized guerilla warfare style...which is very disheartening for the Russians. Every time the Russians are exposed or make a mistake the Ukrainians take advantage of the situation.

Where the Russians actually own the skies with their migs... their pilots are out of practice. Their effectiveness leaves a lot to be desired. So... Russia has turned to missiles. And that's also proving to be a problem as their guidance systems often have failures. And the embarrassment is labeled as criminality.

So... Russia is now going for a long war of attrition. So is Ukraine. And with familiarity comes contempt and a relaxing of standards. Russia, worse than the USA, had a disaster in Afghanistan...and now they get to have another one. With the strict command structures they possess...it's not going to work.

He is a "war criminal", responsible for his troops using inhumane weapons on civilians and troops, attacking known hospitals with rockets, bombs and artillery, gunning down people in bread lines, and shooting unarmed civilians, surrendering with their hands held up, and other crimes against humanity. One of the richest men in the world, but never again to travel outside his home country, lest he is caught and tried.

I don't think that's possible...Russia and Ukraine are very racially prejudiced against each other....long standing tradition of hatred and abuses towards each other.
