Zone1 "Nothing creates itself"

Maybe you should put some more thought into it.
I have. And none of it will change your mind. You’ll never see abortion as wrong and you’ll never see yourself as wrong for believing abortion is good, just and fair. You won’t even accept abortion being only a misdemeanor.

The one ending the human life inside her.
The one who, by becoming pregnant, decided to condemn the issue to death, and the only one capable of such a decision or responsibility for it.

I have. And none of it will change your mind.
Because none of it is well thought out. You always see the problem being with others, never with yourself.

I never believed abortion is good just and fair, only that there can be worse options.

Says the guy dehumanizing human life so he can rationalize being a good person.

There is fate only where there is not free will. Is there? You cannot say there isn't, anywhere. But where did the universe come from? Everything is a guess. God is not the most unreasonable as an answer. Some among you say that with nothing there are particles and antiparticles that spontaneously emerge that are enough to become the universe. But that is not nothing. That is something with such capacity. Whatever was always there still is there, always, there is necessary existence, and sufficient for our provision and capacity to reason out what must be true about many things. God is the best explanation then.

I think you have to separate any possible creator of our universe from the God of the Bible. There is no evidence of any connection.

My response had nothing in itself to do with defense of the Bible. The Bible would have to have evidence of its own as being reliable revelation from God. Could God give revelation to us? I can give completely separate argument for whether God cares so much, and if so if God would really provide revelation for us. And if God was providing revelation for us, what would have the best evidence for being that?

Perhaps it is only "nothing" by how our perceptions function and that "something" must, of necessity, exist for "nothing" to have any sense. Thus, they are mutually created.

You confused me by saying "God" instead of "a god".

Supernatural: some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature. How are we to know what can or cannot happen with respect to supernatural forces? It might be that absent the laws of nature and physical reality that something supernatural can come into existence from nothing. How can Creation be otherwise, or whatever supernatural creative force came to be?

It is not that a "god" that was good would have created "evil", but that the existence of good posits "evil".

Nothing creates itself

Of course. Nothing is the beginning. Nothing is the end. No matter what something you create, given time, entropy will reduce it back to nothingness again. Out of nothing comes everything.
