Endless Wars have always been VERY EXPENSIVE. We pay over aTrillion in interest payments a year. This is a mischaracterization, but one I see often from shallow thinking Trump supporters. Supporting Ukraine's right to defend themselves from Russian invasion is not war mongering.
A financial decline would be measured by GDP growth, and there hasn't been a decline of it since Q2 2020. However you bring up a good point, there is speculation USA will show a decline in GDP growth this year. I'm quite skeptical the support of Ukraine had much to do with it.
USA has sent about 175 billion to Ukraine over three years of war. The US spending over those three years was what about 20 trillion total? So you're thinking that tiny slice (less than 1%) is somehow the catalyst of a financial decline? That is ridiculous.
That is a clear and present danger to the United States. Not Ukraine.
Perhaps we will have to fight Russia eventually and let the world end. But that is NOT TODAY.
For your information...i think Putin is an old KGB POS. I think he wants the old power of the USSR. I served in the cold War. Not worth the money in Ukraine.
We ever go to Real War with them the first step would be to Put Duct Tape on the mouths of people like you. Because you would then push Rules of Engagement like always.
Russia cant win on the battlefield against us. They will end it with Nukes when they lose if we ever go to War.
