Not Our War

Do you support the Not Our War move by the Trump Administration?

This is a mischaracterization, but one I see often from shallow thinking Trump supporters. Supporting Ukraine's right to defend themselves from Russian invasion is not war mongering.

A financial decline would be measured by GDP growth, and there hasn't been a decline of it since Q2 2020. However you bring up a good point, there is speculation USA will show a decline in GDP growth this year. I'm quite skeptical the support of Ukraine had much to do with it.

USA has sent about 175 billion to Ukraine over three years of war. The US spending over those three years was what about 20 trillion total? So you're thinking that tiny slice (less than 1%) is somehow the catalyst of a financial decline? That is ridiculous.
Endless Wars have always been VERY EXPENSIVE. We pay over aTrillion in interest payments a year.

That is a clear and present danger to the United States. Not Ukraine.

Perhaps we will have to fight Russia eventually and let the world end. But that is NOT TODAY.

For your information...i think Putin is an old KGB POS. I think he wants the old power of the USSR. I served in the cold War. Not worth the money in Ukraine.

We ever go to Real War with them the first step would be to Put Duct Tape on the mouths of people like you. Because you would then push Rules of Engagement like always.

Russia cant win on the battlefield against us. They will end it with Nukes when they lose if we ever go to War.

This is exactly what everyone who wasn't a Trump cultist knew back when he claimed he would end the war in one day.
It is easy to promise you're going to do something, but much harder to actually accomplish it in the real world. Now his sycophants are just waving it off, hilariously trying to spin his failure as anything but.
He said he will easily solve it in one day, that he knew exactly what to say to each of them. He lied, he failed, and his adorers just give him yet another pass.
He also said he will sign the rare metals agreement with Ukraine Thursday.
Rubio said we will get a ceasefire or we're done.
What we don't know is what happens next, will the EU step up?
Will the US tighten the screws on Russia even tighter?
Trump needs time to stop WW3.

Ukraine hasn't been a ALLie, its been nothing but a playground of lib grift. guess you'll have to find another country to buy your bs

You been posting with zavulon? He thinks Russia can blackmail the US with threats of nuclear annihilation.
The more Ukraine and Russia battle the weaker Russia gets.
Putin is 72, I doubt he wants to start WW3, but he's not as smart as he thinks he is or he would negotiate a ceasefire.

Zavulon is Fake. Russia has indeed threatened Nukes over this, the same as they have since WWII.

I do believe in an actual War when faced with defeat they would use them.

Interest payments from overspending, will you be attacking Trump for how much raised the deficit in his first term?

That is a clear and present danger to the United States. Not Ukraine.
It isn't a binary choice.

Perhaps we will have to fight Russia eventually and let the world end. But that is NOT TODAY.
We are fighting Russia constantly on a geopolitical front because they are aggressive and expansionist. It is more efficient use of defense dollars to send a Javelin to Ukraine for them to destroy a Russian tank.

Yeah the fear mongering angle is popular. We cannot support Ukraine because someday you'll see WW3. Someday. Trust me. Fear fear fear.

Meanwhile every red line announced by Lazarov (or whatever his name is) has been crossed, yet you blathering dipshits are still eating up all the fear mongering to let it dictate your views on foreign policy.

When a war turns into a meatgrinder, with neither side looking to be able to accomplish their goals, it is reasonable to end it.
Yet apparently impossible to end for Trump, who lied when he promised it would be easy for him to end in one day.

Deciding to instead just let the blood shed continue without any real idea of how to get from the blood shed to your goals, is actually "warmongering".
Warmongering is supporting aggression against another country, not supporting a country defending itself from invasion.

Interest payments from overspending, will you be attacking Trump for how much raised the deficit in his first term?
Will you on Dems who wanted more on Covid? It was a Chorus of everyone stay at home and hide from an Endemic Virus.

You only see via TDS i argued against any shut down then.

It isn't a binary choice.
It is an economic death to our Nation choice.

Same tactic used since WWII. Has it worked? Cost us a shit ton of money, but????

It is the same reason since WWII we have not had direct war with them. Where the Hell have you been?

My view is Reality. Without direct NATO forces in Ukraine, Russia will slowly TAKE MORE LAND. Odessa will be next.

The more they advance the closer we get to direct War. Poland has the largest number of troops and they have called up a draft. Let that sink in.

That seems to be an admission that my point is correct. IE that the war is a meatgrinder with neither side able to reasonably hope to achieve their goals.

Which is a pretty big deal.

apparently impossible to end for Trump,

OK. Which consider what you already admitted, ie that it is a meatgrinder with no end game in sight, is quite sad.

who lied when he promised it would be easy for him to end in one day.

Lied? Or was he honestly mistaken in that he thought that he had massive leverage over Zelenski and that Putin was somewhat reasonable.

EIther way, which is more important? PEACE, or a gotcha moment?

Warmongering is supporting aggression against another country, not supporting a country defending itself from invasion.

I disagree. The sensible thing here to do, is to support an end to the meatgrinder, not to support endless war.

Its NOT OUR WAR. Rubio makes it clear that the U.S. is done negotiating Peace if neither side is willing to negotiate it.

Rubio called it a proxy war with Russia several weeks ago .
Americans shouldn't be held accountable for our CIA 's nefarious acts

That seems like a desperate grasp at framing something in a way it isn't.

Ukraine should just give up their territories to the invader because Correll thinks it is too much of a meatgrinder war.

Lied. It is Trump. Anyone with half a brain knew it wasn't as simple as Trump claimed.

Supporting a sovereign nation's right to defend itself from invaders is important.

I disagree. The sensible thing here to do, is to support an end to the meatgrinder, not to support endless war.
Okay, we know that Correll believes a country invading another to steal their land and resources should be rewarded with whatever they can grab as long as they can get to the point where Correll thinks it is too much a of a meat grinder. We should have just left Germany with almost all of Western Europe too, afterall there was a pause and peace could have been achieved by just holding onto UK.

Feeble red herring attempt, is the first sentence even English?

It is an economic death to our Nation choice.
We'll take this as a concession that you presented a false dilemma.

Same tactic used since WWII. Has it worked? Cost us a shit ton of money, but????
Well yes, since WW2 USA has prospered and the Soviet Union withered. Germany and Japan are allies, and most of the former Soviet block countries are peacefully prospering economically.

It is the same reason since WWII we have not had direct war with them. Where the Hell have you been?
We aren't in direct war with them. You guys keep trying to use fear mongering to say we shouldn't support a country being invaded, but you have been proven wrong time and time again.

My view is Reality. Without direct NATO forces in Ukraine, Russia will slowly TAKE MORE LAND. Odessa will be next.
Yeah you are your own greatest source.

The more they advance the closer we get to direct War. Poland has the largest number of troops and they have called up a draft. Let that sink in.
Fear monger! Watch out! If we don't get our way everything will blow up!

That works with Trump's fanboys with their ear glued to whatever latest catastrophe Newsmax is selling, which is why you now dutifully and mindlessly regurgitate it.

Deflection on you know Dems wanted to spend more.

Nothing false about it.

Never said we were. Said it could lead to direct War. Im against funding anymore Endlesss Wars

Yeah you are your own greatest source
Ir you followed news Russia is hitting the hell out of Odessa lately.

That is and has always been possible with Russia.

You just want to keep rolling the dice.
