I think the Fed will pressure Sates to limit cryto-mining if they ever want to provide an alternative of their own ...
And they are investigating the Digital Dollar.

New York could just be reading the writing on the wall and getting ahead of things ...
And the folks that complain the most about resources use are really just pissed about the fact crypto-mining,
is a way the wealthy and well supplied can get richer while cutting out the middleman in labor.

Since cryptocurrency really isn't in the Federal Reserve's sphere of influence ...
And they have a harder time applying their specific "resource distribution" models ...
You can expect they will be more than pleased with any attempt by a State to limit crypto-mining.
