It was Trump who said all the files would be released. That was the mistake. Of course the cannot all be released. Too many names of people not indicted. The FBI/DOJ should not be in the business of releasing reputation-destroying hearsay about people they decided not to charge.

Trump needs to say, "I thought I would be able to release all the files. But now I know that I can't do that without harming the innocent, and the innocent until proven guilty."

Are there names that would embarass the GOP? Sure. There are names that would embarass the DNC. Neither side will ever release them, unless they decide they do not care what innocent people are harmed.
