No taxpayer bailout for CA....Let them live with their decisions

Homeowners in HI, FL, and SC received $43,000 from the Feds to help them rebuild. That should suffice in CA.
I got zero dollars from the government when my house burned to the ground.

California receives a significant share of federal funding through the state budget, with $153 billion in federal funds included in the enacted state budget for 2024-25

So, IMHO Trump and the gop congress, should tell CA they need to make do with what they get.

When they start to go on about having to suspend services like Fire. EMT, & Police just say, "well, isn't that what you wanted?"

Let's just see what the CA politicians decide to prioritize and have them live with their decisions.

As a Virginian I don't what to have to pay for CA's continued dumbfuckery.
well YOU could say that you don't want to pay for any MANKIND dumb fuckery, but you will. :laughing0301:
this event is/was climate change driven and you can blame that on MANKIND. :abgg2q.jpg:

Actually we should tell that to Florida.

Which being one of 50 states (2% of the US) and Florida is estimated to be 6.84% of the US population, received 15% of disaster relief funding from the federal government.

Did your homeowners insurance cover? Was it a natural disaster?
In CA most insurance companies bailed, and CA's low cost coverage can't cover.
They should get what FL, HI, SC got for disasters.
Well, FL, with 7% of the US population got 15% of federal disaster funds.
California has close to 12% of the US population, so bailing out CA like the feds did FL, means CA getting 25% of federal disaster spending.

Where FEMA's direct relief money is going

Florida, Louisiana and Texas residents have received the lion's share of FEMA direct assistance since 2015, per newly gathered data.

With Florida receiving $2,514,393,663 (2.5 billion)
Texas receiving $2,173,613,809 (2.2 billion)

And California receiving $302,852,765 (0.3 billion)

Trump should treat California like Biden treated North Carolina after the Hurricane.

No it wasnt, it was stupidity that caused it, Not working to lessen the underbrush and not filling the reservoirs.

It just goes to show that historically Americans are cautious about sending money to a failed state like CA.....Looks like their caution was well founded given CA's ineptitude.

And that attitude said SAVE THE PLANET, no one can clean the forest, no controp burns, no fire breaks.

RAH RAH

Leave too much fuel Mother Nature will fix it.

Oh Well. Cali peeps are fucking idiots.

LEARN OR BURN

No it shows that Florida and Texas have gotten billions from FEMA, while California was getting millions.
And now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly they don't want to give up the trough.

FL and TX put the moneys they receive to good use.....CA will squander it on social programs/boondoggles.

Leftists simply can't be trusted with public funds.....It really is as simple as that.

I'm sure they would just love for the rest of us to fund the 15-minute walk cities they have long proposed for the currently burnt-out areas.

I had insurance.
