'No state has struggled more': Residents of 'Trump stronghold' blame him for epic downturn

Oh wait, that was the same state that was predicted to go for Harris.....You know, the state Trump won by 14 points. :laughing0301:

2020 djt "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I can't believe I lost to Sleepy Joe!"
Yawn, Biden has had his opportunity and he screwed up everything he touched. DJT is POTUS if you haven't noticed and the only whining I hear IS YOU and your whiny baby buddies who are crying about the result. Elections have Consequences, Barack Obama. Get used to it and quit whining.

Trump still has not come to terms with how much America despises him

You are not the majority of America--that was established some time on this thread. Run along, you're trolling.
Trump never won a majority of Americans

Never. When one counts the percentage of Americans eligible to vote that actually voted for Trump, it's as pathetic as he is.

2016:
Turnout60.1%
Percentage Trump got 46.1% of 60.1%

2020:
Turnout66.6%
Percentage Trump got 46.8% of 66.6%

2024:
Turnout64.1%
Percentage Trump got 49.8% of 64.1%

Tell me what candidate got more votes than he did in any swing state or the nation. Tell me who got a greater number of EC votes 312-226
Your denial of the election outcome is irrelevant. IDGAF if you like it or not. What was it you said about 2020? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH? Get used to it, BTW, Iowa is the topic---not your disgruntled election denials.

‘There is one state that has struggled more than any other with Donald Trump's policies, and its residents are worried, even calling the situation "death by a thousand paper cuts," according to a new report.

The New York Times on Sunday published an article called "In Trump-Friendly Iowa, the President’s Policies Have Hit Hard," in which the outlet argues that the "state has become a stronghold for President Trump."

"Now, his efforts on trade, energy and immigration are squeezing farmers, disrupting labor and threatening industries," the report states. According to the Times, a lot of the problems Iowans are having stem from the Argentinian bailout to import more foreign meat.

"When President Trump announced a $20 billion bailout for Argentina this month, Larry Ory, 86, a farmer in Earlham, Iowa, could hardly believe it, especially after boatloads of Argentine soybeans began shipping to China, a once-critical customer for Mr. Ory's family," according to the new report. "For Iowans, losing China’s soybean market in the president’s trade war was only one of many economic shocks that have hit the state since the start of Mr. Trump’s second term.’

The stupidity of voting for Trump.

What exactly did Trump voters in Iowa think Trump was going to do, what Trump said he would do during the campaign.

Trump voters – the stupidity of voting against one’s own interests.

Nebraska is in the same boat. And our representatives ( republicans ) are the only ones supporting him.anymore. Or should I say soon to be former represenatives.
