Nike sales were bound to have a spike upward, since the pro-kneelers were likely to run out and make a purchase in support of the Kaphisdick ad.

My guess is, the spike will be mostly short-lived, and then sales will return to about the same level as before the ad came out.

In the long run, Nike will likely gain more customers than lose.

They've lost me permanently, not just because of this ad with Kap, but yesterday the Nike CEO came out against ballot Measure 105, which would repeal Oregon's sanctuary state law.
Also there's a lawsuit going on right now due to Nike's management "boys club", as well as their sweat shop practices
