Sad commentary for today's youth. It seems to be happening more and more often.

visited philly to go to the mutter.....i was taken back by the warnings of violence, i was told where to go and where not to go...i was told to stay in the area we were staying it was safe....the cab driver told us right up front the mutter was in a bad area and he would not wait. we had to call for a cab. i still thought they were all just scaring me..the next day a nurse going to work was killed. the gunman just walked up behind her and shot her in the head....

That was several years ago, and that was a rare story. The Mutter is in Center city, it's very safe there as long as you have some street smarts. Go a mile North as the crow flies and your in north Philly and god bless you if your stuck there.

Philly is a fantastic town, world class museums, restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately like every major city, dirtballs stand out higher then the good people that rule the city
