New York City mayor complaining about illegal aliens again

He didn't say the federal government is failing either. Adams didn't blame anyone for the situation, he simply asked for more help and resources from the feds to take on the job. He has a problem which Joe Biden can help him with, so he went on TV and said, "We have a problem and we need your help".

The problems are set out and Adams, the state, and the feds will work towards solutions. That's how government is supposed to work.

And once again, you're cheering for Biden to fail. You're always cheering for Biden to fail. Why do you want America to fail?

You headline and your post is a complete lie. Mayor Adams isn't complaining about immigrants at all. And he never even said the words "illegal immigrants".

Mayor Adams is complaining about a lack of resources to deal with the large number of "immigrants" being dropped on his doorstep. Mayor Adams is complaining about the failure of the federal government to give him adequate resources to deal with all of the immigrants being handed off to the City of New York.

He didn't say he didn't want any more immigrants, he said he needs more resources to help all of the people that are being sent to New York, after entering the country elsewhere. Mayor Adams seems more than ready to welcome the people to New York, if he's given the money and resources necessary to deal with them.

You can't reason with a terminal lefty. This one is especially bad. She has good grammar and sentence structure and not a goddamn cent's worth of common sense to go with it. The reason none of the states have any federal resources to deal with the influx of migrants is because Donald Trump defunded all federal immigrant support services and cancelled all programs for housing, jobs and legal services, in favour of arrest and detention of anyone crossing the border. Once these services were gone, and the staff disbursed to other NGO's or jobs, assessing the needs and rebuilding service takes time.

The Biden Administration offered to work with border states, to meter entries so they weren't overwhelmed, and to direct funds and resources to where they were most needed.

Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis flat out refused to even discuss their issues with the Biden Administration, or to cooperate in rebuilding the resource network for incoming migrants. They just started tricking incoming migrants into getting on buses and planes and shipping them out of state. This cruelty, inflicted on people who are just trying to find hope and safety, was inhumane and despicable. It was also violated their Constitutional rights.

The New York Mayor is rightfully saying, "We need more resources". And the Biden Administration immediately started working with him to provide them. That's what government is supposed to do. Not abuse poor people for political theatre.

Everyone is having difficulty finding staff and it's difficult to assess need, until the arrivals start happening.

That source of funding should have been defunded a long time ago. Adding money to that fund is only encouraging bad behavior.

We can no longer afford to do that. Immigration should be organized into skill sets and what do you have to offer us? Sending hungry, unskilled and uneducated refugees to the United States is no different than pouring water into the gasoline tank.

It's bad for them and it's also bad for us.
