New Yokozuna

Onosato became the newest Yokozuna with a win yesterday. The first native Japanese Yokozuna in about 20 years (the top rank has been dominated by Mongolians since then). With a win today, he just needs one more win tomorrow on the last day to secure his first ever zensho-yusho or undeated championship. Sumo fans are pretty excited about it.

Stay tuned!
I could probably get into that but since it isn't easily available, I'll stick with wrestling and follow what Masanosuke Ono does at Penn State this coming year. For now, I'll be happy watching college baseball and softball. Those kids can play.

You ever see that TV show Blue Bloods? There is one where the whole family is eating Chinese food. Half the actors clearly cannot use chopsticks. It's funny.
I don't watch the networks all that much. I hate all of the commercials. And I'm a Tom Selleck fan, but I never felt the urge to stream Blue Bloods.

But you can easily spot someone who doesn't know how to use them properly. Eating noodles with chopsticks is easy. Easier than with a fork. Some people don't think you can eat rice with them, but all you do is pick up the bowl and push it in your mouth.

In Kuwait the Bedouins traditionally eat everything with their hands.....and they just make rice balls.

Upset!

Hoshoryu upset soon-to-be 75th Yokozuna Onosato on the last day of the tournament to spoil his bid for a zensho-yusho! Looks like we could be seeing the beginning of a rivalry for some time!

Stay tuned!

I prefer watching sumo wives...

I always like the original Yokozuna, and the way he was able to dominate WWE with his patented Bonsai drop that he mastered.
