Another law passed by bureaucrats not legislators.

Transgenders in Washington state to use restrooms based on identity, not anatomy: rule

December 31, 2015
A legislative battle over transgender restroom access is brewing in Washington after a state commission enacted rules requiring that bathroom, shower and locker room use in public accommodations be based on “gender identity,” not sex.

State legislators are already working to draft bills in reaction to the Washington State Human Rights Commission’s newly enacted rules, saying the panel overstepped its authority by leaving the Legislature out of such a major change in policy and understanding.

“For the Human Rights Commission to unilaterally make a [Washington Administrative Code] change — they’re not an elected body,” said Republican state Rep. Graham Hunt. “They’re making decisions that widely affect the public although they’re not elected and held accountable to the public in the same fashion.”

Were infants consulted about this change in the implied contract of segregated gender public bathrooms that they shared rights to?

Infants have a right to not be confronted in the same private area by opposite gendered adults that are strangers to them while they are pulling their pants down and relieving themselves. If a bathroom is an area meant for privacy, then all privacy issues pertaining to children and opposite gendered strange adults apply. Otherwise, if privacy isn't an issue, take down the walls and put toilets in a row under an overhang adjacent to a sidewalk with no walls or booths.

Infant and contract laws. Washington state had an implied contract with infants to protect them in public bathrooms from the opposite gender while infants were exposing themselves for bodily functions.. Washington state can't change that law/implied contract without permission from infants. And if segregation protects infants, then even if infants agree to the change, it isn't allowed. It is void. Maybe they should designate sani-cans for this purpose. Why should we have to change convention to accommodate about 3% of the population?

Hopefully there are not urinals and all toilets are in stalls with doors. That way kids can be accompanied by a parent regardless of the sex.

When ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

^^^ I second that. If places are to start having just one rest room spot, I really can't see that going over well. Guys will hate the lines that will then be in their faces all the time thanks to us females.

God bless you always!!!

I can just see gays complaining about women stinking up their bathrooms. "Ugh! Tuna ".
