On OIOS, the Secretary-General has requested the General Assembly today to approve the appointment of Ms. Inga-Britt Ahlenius of Sweden for a five-year non-renewable term. The effective date of the appointment will be communicated to the Assembly at a later stage.

As one out of four US proposals for new chief of OIOS (The Office of Internal Oversight Services) Inga-Britt Ahlenius was choosen.

Other personailia i have read about her is in Swedish news papers. Is she a good choice? I don't know really.

She got quite famous when she openly criticised the financial minister of how things where handeled. I guess she won't hold back on stuff she finds.

Also she worked in Kosovo for some time to create a Auditor institution.
