I'm on season 23 now with tegridy farms and once I'm caught up I might be done with the show.

Over arching story lines and leaning very heavily on modern hot topics is turning me off the show.

I miss when episodes were just random and disconnected for the most part. They would tap into current things going on but not depend on them so much and had a more "I don't give a shit" attitude.

They barely use secondary characters anymore either. Ned, Jimbo, Mr slave, big gay Al and so on have pretty much disappeared.

I'm hoping maybe season 24 will return to form but as it is now each season only has 1 or 2 episodes I actually like and laugh at.
