New Questions: Is the FBI "Trumpland"? Evidence is mounting.

'The FBI is Trumpland': anti-Clinton atmosphere spurred leaks, sources say

“The FBI is Trumpland,” said one current agent.

The agent called the bureau “Trumplandia”, with some colleagues openly discussing voting for a GOP nominee who has garnered unprecedented condemnation from the party’s national security wing and who has pledged to jail Clinton if elected.

Leaks, however, have continued. Fox News reported on Wednesday that the FBI is intensifying an investigation into the Clinton Foundation over allegations – which both the foundation and the Clinton camp deny – it traded donations for access to Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state. The Wall Street Journal reportedthat justice department officials considered the allegations flimsy.

“The continued leadership failures at the FBI are another reminder we can’t let intelligence agencies say ‘trust us’ and then give them a blank check to probe into Americans’ lives.

“While I’ve argued for years that Congress must create ironclad protections for Americans’ security and privacy, we also need vigilant oversight of agencies that have the power to deprive citizens of their liberty or change the course of an election.”

The FBI would not comment for this story.

It turns out the "new info" the FBI got was from that silly and debunked anti Clinton book that was made into a movie.

Some refer to this as a "Trump cell" within the FBI.

Tomorrow in Newsweek, their FRONT PAGE article will be "Why the Russian's are backing Trump". I can't wait. Trump is their chosen candidate.

And House Democrats are picking up on this. It involves

1. Jamey Comey
2. Rudi Guiliani--former mayor of New York with close ties to the FBI office in New York City, now Trump campaign adviser, and Hillary Clinton attack dog on FOX News.
3. Kallstrom a frequent flyer of FOX News, former head of FBI offices in New York City, and whom Trump promised 1 million in donations to his charity.

House Democrats today ask for a full independent investigation.

WASHINGTON House Democrats asked the Justice Department’s internal watchdog on Friday to investigate leaks of information about the FBI investigation into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

In a letter to the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General, Reps. Elijah Cummings (Md.) and John Conyers (Mich.) cited comments from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who said Friday that he obtained information about the FBI’s Clinton investigation long before Director James Comey sent a letter to members of Congress last Friday about new emails that may have been relevant to the Clinton probe. Giuliani is an adviser to GOP nominee Donald Trump and a former top federal prosecutor.

“It is absolutely unacceptable for the FBI to leak unsubstantiated ― and in some cases false ― information about one presidential candidate to benefit the other candidate. Leaking this information to former FBI officials as a conduit to the Trump campaign is equally intolerable,” the letter states.

“These unauthorized and inaccurate leaks from within the FBI, particularly so close to a presidential election, are unprecedented,” it says. “For these reasons, we are calling on your office to conduct a thorough investigation to identify the sources of these and other leaks from the FBI and to recommend appropriate action.”

What information is false? Be specific.

That's the point, Comey violated long standing DOJ protocol.

I am STILL waiting for someone to post some evidence of this "long-standing protocol".

DOJ Complaint Filed Against FBI Director James Comey For Interfering In Presidential Election

I think Comey has a great chance of being prosecuted for violating the Hatch Act of 1939 along with the above.

I very much doubt that Comey would be prosecuted.....BUT, he will be "sentenced" to a term as one of Fox's legal analyst.
