It doesn't take a poll to "find most Americans have pretty short memories." The fact that the same politicians are elected over and over again should make it obvious. In a few instances re-election is not even be bad.
Polls are usually designed to provide predetermined results regardless of a persons views. If the three options you have for answers one is what they want you to pick and the other two used to guide you there. How many times have you wished there were 4 with 4 being "None of the above."
Dogma is usually associated with religion but is now a part of politics. dictionary.search.yahoo.com provided the following results:
1.A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church.
2.An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true.
3.A principle or belief or a group of them.

All sitting presidents get a bad rating. Bush's was far worse in his presidency. The longer they are out of office the higher their popularity goes. Fox News says this also, so it must be true.

1. Not the American people, it's the respondents to a poll. They don't represent everyone in America.
2. Only 33% of poll respondents said Obama was the worst (IIRC). That means 67% don't. Not to mention the inherent flaws in survey reporting like reporting bias and selective sampling.
3. Obama is our current president so the more recent memories are going to be on the mind if others. But that doesn't explain everything. He is also the first democratic president in the digital age. Fox News is more popular now than in 2001 and there are numerous conservative blogs. So since Obama has gotten elected (and even before), he has been the worst president ever. That's been the rhetoric from the right. Ask yourself an honest question, have you or the republicans gave Obama a chance? We all know the answer, it's no.

They are the people that take the Bible literally; but ignore most of the NT because it will not allow you to keep you goals. The hate shown President Obama started before he did anything right or wrong. It is apparent that the right would be against anything he has done, right or wrong.

I have a friend who is actually a Marxist, they don't like Obama, democrats, and most liberals. Who wouldn't know a Marxist if it hit you in the head.
