New Jersey Man Dies in Custody After ‘Brutal’ Beating by Police

Officials are investigating the death of a New Jersey man who died while in police custody Tuesday.

"As many of you have already heard, earlier today a tragedy occurred involving Officers and a citizen," said Vineland Police Chief Timothy Codispoti. "Sadly, this call for service resulted in an “in–custody, non-shooting death” which is being investigated by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s office"
The man, identified as Phillip White, was arrested at a home on the 100 block of Grape Street in Vineland, New Jersey around 11 a.m. Tuesday. He died shortly after while in custody.

Witnesses told NBC10 officers were extremely physical with White after he was already restrained and unconscious on the street.
"They punched him, stomped him, kicked him and then they let the dog out of the car," said Ricardo Garcia. "The dog bit him on his face and around his body. There's no call for that. Once a man is handcuffed and unconscious, you should have stuck him in the patrol car and take him to the police station. Instead they decided to beat him right here."

Another homeless guy with a history of violent assault. Likely the autopsy will show he died of a drug overdose or at least while under the influence. Shatter and flakka can induce violent behavior and heart failure. A man just impaled himself while drugged out.

He wasn't white. Let me guess here. I have seen cops beat the holy hell out of whites resisting arrest...it goes with the freaking territory. Don't resist arrest, you are not gonna get hurt, that simple. Blacks make it complicated with racism and all that, it isn't that hard.

Unfortunately, political opportunists like Al Sharpton have destroyed the credibility of those who speak out against police brutality. Now, when we hear about legitimate complaints, everyone looks at those complaints with skepticism, thanks to Al and others like him for crying wolf when there is no wolf. This may be a legitimate case of injustice but it sounds like the same old bullshit we hear all the time from the race hustlers. Phony witnesses who weren't even there, etc., now we have to verify and investigate all of them and their claims to determine whether they were actually witnesses or professional agitators brought in to serve a political agenda.
