The recent Major Cook lawsuit contains evidence proving that Obama has listed he lived at 149 different addresses and has used 39 different social security numbers!

The evidence contained in exhibit B shows that Barrak Hussein Obama might have used as many as 149 addresses and 39 Social Security Numbers prior to assuming office as president. The Social Security number most commonly used by Barrak Hussein Obama is the one issued by the state of Connecticut, the state where Barrak Hussein Obama never resided and that shows him to be 119 years old, and may have been one of his father's SS numbers.

This coupled with the fact that Mr Obama’s grandmother, Madeline Dunham was a volunteer at the Oahu Circuit Court Probate department and had access to the Social Security Numbers of the deceased, constitutes circumstantial evidence casting serious doubt on the legitimacy of Mr Obama and his claims of being born on U.S. territory.

The Area Number is assigned by the geographical region. Prior to 1972, cards were issued in local Social Security offices around the country and the Area Number represented the State in which the card was issued. This did not necessarily have to be the State where the applicant lived, since a person could apply for their card in any Social Security office. Since 1972, when SSA began assigning SSNs and issuing cards centrally from Baltimore, the area number assigned has been based on the ZIP code in the mailing address provided on the application for the original Social Security card. The applicant's mailing address does not have to be the same as their place of residence. Thus, the Area Number does not necessarily represent the State of residence of the applicant, either prior to 1972 or since.

Generally, numbers were assigned beginning in the northeast and moving westward. So people on the east coast have the lowest numbers and those on the west coast have the highest numbers.

Thanks for the quoted reference on SS numbers. It is somewhat informative, but generally confirms the outline of what I thought to be the case, that there were state considerations in number assignments.

Of course when we adopted the SS System we had a stronger state's rights system, and likely deference was given to that despite FDRs commie Fed lovers. After all, before the 1920s immigration was substantially a state function not a federal one.

Like in so many other things, power has been stripped from the states by one pretext and device or another, I think to our general detriment. Sometimes Fed intervention is required, like building the Interstates which the states likely could never have done.

But in most cases the Feds have done a worse job, glaringly in education, for example, in labor relations, and a bunch of other areas. Yes, to the Fed going to the moon, but not so in much else. If the Fed used their power properly then it would be different, but we have just seen no evidence of that.

We either need to somehow (by a really conservative reform government) get a very high level of performance from the Fed, OR we need to devolve a whole bunch of stuff back to the States and to the private sector. This oil spill is likely a case in point. Exactly how much authority have the states retained regarding safety off shore. probably about none.

Civil Service, among other sacred cows, has turned out to be a bad investment. It is neither Civil nor of much Service and should be abolished along with unions in any job other than private profit making corporations. Unions exist to help workers get a share of the profits, but in government and non-profits there are NO profits to share and hence there should be NO unions at all allowed.

What matters, Care, is what the law was on who qualifies as 'natural born' in 1961 - when Bazza was born.

Fact: there are articles dating from 2004 that refer to him as born in Keyna. I'm not a birther but those articles would normally have been corrected at the time, if they were inaccurate.

I requested a copy of my birth certificate from the state of Alabama, paid them 15 bucks for it, and they did not send me my birth certificate, but they sent me a certificate of live birth INSTEAD.....I was very disappointed, because I wanted to find out the TIME of day I was born and my mom said she could not remember....the COLB did not list my time of birth.

Hawaii IS NOT THE ONLY STATE that issues COLB's for their citizens requesting a copy of their birth certificates.

I recently got a passport to travel overseas, and the State of Maine, took my COLB as identification and sent it off to the federal gvt in my application for the passport, and about 2 weeks after I APPLIED, THE FEDERAL GVT RETURNED MY colb TO me and issued me my passport.

WHY DO PEOPLE THINK
