The person who purchased the firearm for Rittenhouse plead "No Contest" in a plea deal and was prosecuted as the District Attorney desired.

The minimum legal age under federal law to possess a longarm and ammunition is the day you are born, because it is a Constitutionally Protected Right and those Rights start the day you are born. (check your state laws though)
