It did look to come from the area of the victim's waste, but we don't know that he didn't at first try to reach for the gun.

. . none the less, once he was disarmed, if this is the narrative the officers are going with, the victim should have been arrested and charged, not shot on the scene once disarmed.

I do find it ironic that all these 2nd amendment types are now justifying the shooting of an American citizen for the mere fact he was carrying a concealed weapon. As I understand he was just filming ICE before being assaulted and then shot. I suppose now that any citizen with a concealed weapon on them is now a threat to law enforcement and should be treated as such.
