Lonely Boys is awesome. They are playing at this year's Coachella. Too bad I won't be there.

Meh... not that impressed. (the music, not the video, don't give two shits about videos)
This song could have been on any of their last 3 albums, in other words... it sounds the same.

I became aware of them with the Thickfreakness album. Who doesn't like the title song of that album?
I became a fan when "Brothers" came out, and then came "El Camino" obviously their biggest album ever. And rightfully so. But their core fans hated it, but who cares? Unless you want to be a small niche band that is.
So they produced Delta Cream to appease their main fans. And that of course didn't work so well. They only sold 30,000 albums. Unlike El Camino which sold 1.5 million.
They are at the last chance saloon right now. If this next album is another hillbilly blues album, then they will probably go back to being the niche band they were in the 90s with every where they go people will be wanting them to play Gold on the Ceiling or Lonely Boy.
