Nebraska Supreme Court Reverses Ruling Denying Adoption By Married Same-Sex Couple

surprised that in 2021 same sex couples are still being denied the same rights as heterosexual couples
Because they are mentally ill freaks who need help, not given stewardship over a child

Plenty of straight parents that don’t deserve to raise kids with their mental illness and being gay is not anymore mentally ill than straight people that can’t keep their junk in their panties!

Looks like the first judge twisted the law to fit his "old fashioned" notions as opposed to ruling on the law as laid out in Nebraska. Clearly the wording as explained by the Supreme Court of Nebraska allows this.

You have little control over normal parents until something goes wrong. That doesnt mean you dont strictly control who you place an adopted child with.

Thou shalt not speak ill of homosexuality.
It is considered trolling if you dont agree with that "lifestyle"

Twitter thanks you for your service

You can think as ill as you wish but the government is no longer going to discriminate.

He sure did twist that law into a pretzel to come to his ruling.

Thank goodness the Supreme Court corrected it.

‘Sara Rips, an attorney for the organization said that the ruling should solidify that married same-sex couples have the same rights as married heterosexual couples.

“But I think there will always be challenges,” she said according to The Associated Press. “I think we have a lot of fight left to go.”’ ibid

Unfortunately, that’s true.

The ignorant, hateful, bigoted right will continue to seek to disadvantage gay Americans – conservatives subscribing to this thread are evidence of that.

Gay Americans put themselves at a disadvantage with this issue. If they had ANY common sense they would realize something's not right about their relationship when they have to rely on others to have children for them.

A large number of adopting couples have that issue. While unfortunate for many couples as a society we should be pleased that there are couples out there willing to take kids that others did not want.

Allowing perverted homo couples to adopt is child abuse and puts kids in a dangerous environment that is emotionally damaging. ....
Sadly putting children in homes known to be abusive is considered better than alternatives. Whatever they are.

We have fostercare. As a person who grew up in foster care I am glad I wasn't placed in a home where the proper roles of a man and a woman could not be taught to me.
