ND oil pipeline turns violent Sacred burial grounds destroyed

In the 1970's to curb the potential of violence between states and private companies and Native Americans, Congress passed the American Indian Religious Freedom Act which provided directives from U.S. presidents that federal agencies needed to consult with tribal communities about actions that might affect tribal heritage and sacred sites on federal land.

The issue in this instance will boil down if indeed the construction is on federal or state or private lands; unfortunately there will be blood spilled and a possible replay of Wounded Knee.
You have no idea what really went on at wounded knee you dumbass

D wasted $1.25T debt for 8 straight years. But any silly phony "cause" they can find to slow America's methods to compete with Asia......where do I sign up? Enough Already?

A few things funny about the redskins.

1. They never had a word for wheel before pale face showed up.

2. They never knew what a horse was, before pale face showed up.

3. They certainly had no idea what blue jeans were, before pale face.

Seriously, why aren't they wearing native garb? What if pale face showed up there in native "costumes."

Is it because we have all come to the conclusion that native garb has been relegated to costume?

Ahhh, these are obviously rhetorical questions.

Aren't they funny. Please, feel free to add.

Toilet paper, tampons, indoor plumbing, electricity, Tylenol.

Ain't I a stinker?

No, you're just an ignorant racist. But we already knew that.

Bad source... Washington redskin

Are redskins really more offended by the Washington Redskins as a team name than the Cleveland Indians?

No wonder they never had a word for wheel.

I hope that the Standing Rock people win this one. I know some of the people in those pictures. Some are my wife's relatives. The oil companies have a really bad reputation for using the money they have to run right over anyone in their way. Time to put an end to that.
