And the people pointing out that they are not going to do business with those companies and speaking against them aren't a repudiation of the free market. They are examples of it at work. So your argument that speaking out against PayPal enacting stupid policy is a repudiation of the free market is absolute poppycock. To persist in that ridiculous argument demonstrates you don't understand the free market
Wow.
:
You're not getting it. At all.
No you're not getting it, the FREE MARKET is a two way street.
Strawman.
I never said it wasn't.
That poster however doesn't seem to get that PayPal is making a free market decision to not do business by boycotting the state, like hundreds of other companies are doing to states with bigoted laws.
People can boycott Paypal if they like. That's free market too.
That's not the point.
It's that many of those same people are calling PP and companies who are pulling out of states with discriminatory laws "bully's" and "corporate blackmailers...."
As I said in an earlier post:
Cons have spouted for years and years about letting "the free market decide" when it comes to PA laws /matters such as this - time and again, when "the free market decides" we get this kind of shit:
Bully''s! assholes!
Corporate blackmailers!
This came out full force too when some of the red states were writing laws /amending constitutions to discriminate against gays...Staph-types were saying things like:
Why couldn't they just settle for civil unions....? Then we saw the NOM folks come out and say
**** you gays. NO ! You can't even have hospital visitation rights. You can't have ANYTHING that looks like a marriage. They fought it tooth and nail.
And we damn well WILL discriminate against you. Because: God
The anti-gay crowd is so full of ****.
Bout time they got taken to the shed.
