In the new world where idiots don't understand that the truth about pedophilia in no way reflects on homosexuals, the APA is saying that it is OK to be attracted to children as long as you don't actually have sex with them, but it isn't actually an orientation. No one can point to any type of science to back up the change in the DSM, but the APA doesn't use science, so it really doesn't matter that science doesn't back up anything they do.

Oh, hey, in Europe some of the same scientists who peddle the "born that way" myth about homosexuality also claim that pedophiles are "born that way." They've even testified before some European legislatures to try to get them to loosen laws on adult-child sex and kiddy porn.

On a related note, have you noticed that in the last 10 years Hollywood has produced a few movies that portrayed pedophiles in a sympathetic manner? Don't be shocked if Hollywood gradually starts to make more movies that seek to normalize pedophilia.
