In other words, celebrate the launch as a triumph for humankind, and not as an American accomplishment because ... Trump... America bad ...

I do not even get what the reporter is going for there. WTF does THAT even mean?!? Celebrate as a human and not an American?!?!? If THIS is not an example of TDS, then I do not know what is. Can you imagine some saying this during the Obama years, or even the Joe Biden disaster?!?! Everything today is viewed through a Trump prism. Everything MUST be construed in relation to Trump, per the left. If THAT is not derangement, then I don't know what is.

The lefties ALWAYS "tilt" towards the "One World Without Borders"(OWWB) mentality.

Well, sounds like those "humans" need to dig deep and pay their fair share. The bill will be in the mail.

NBC => Nothing But Commies

I'm sure the Chinese are celebrating their trips to the moon as CHINESE citizens.

We're in another space race and it's not about flags and footprints this time. China wants to militarize the moon like they militarized the South China Sea.

It's more like ADS. American Derangement Syndrome.

Can't stand to be from a country where the founders were not 100% perfect (Bill Maher calls it "presentism").

NBC....there must be a good set of words for those 3 letters. OOOPs Post #5....Perfect.

Maybe we could strap a couple of Iranian leaders on the outside of the ship and let them "enjoy the view" for a few minutes.

This is just your conservative victim complex. What he said had nothing to do with your yearning to be pitied. Here's what he said:

"I think it's important and relevant to take a moment and say wow, we should be collectively, not as Americans, not as North Americans or as- but just as humans, proud of the achievement here- that humans have been able to do this. And we're about to go even further than ever before. It's- it's exactly what they had hoped for, setting the stage to eventually put humans on the moon."

The MSM has been hard at work tearing down being American for decades.

Look at how little interest they have in our 250th anniversary of Independence, and compare that to 50 years ago.

Sometime around the Carter administration second half they went rogue.

I agree with the author. Trump was an asshole and tried to insinuate that somehow American accomplishments should be rubbed in the world's face instead of gracefully recognized. Trump isnt used to winning. Trump had nothing to do with this launch. Neither did most of us other than paying our taxes.

Their amazing feat doesnt make you or me better than some Spaniard. What a weird ass worldview.

You shit-for-brains, dumbass! There was no reason for him to even mention America but-for his desire to steer people away from patriotism.

We all understand that you do not understand Patriotism, a-hole.

Are we not allowed to talk about what a complete disaster the Artemis and SLS program is?

Glad that we are getting something out of it but I have a hard time celebrating it too much.

You might as well say Neil Armstrong had TDS for saying "one giant leap for mankind" instead of "one giant leap for the U.S. only"

Get over your feelings, you pathetic little girl

LOL! That is the most asinine comparison one could make. Are you stoned out of your mind, moron?!?

Every space launch that is successful is a magnificent thing to behold.
