I think if they gave up all those draft picks and included Holmgren and traded all of them for Giannis, the Bucks and OKC would probably both win in the deal. Chet just signed a 5 year, $239 million dollar contract and it starts next year, not sure anyone wants that
Yes do that. Because usually these things don't work out. Gianni has an attitude now. He's not hungry anymore. Nothing more to prove. But maybe it will work. I also like Gianni so that would be cool.

Yes, break up OKC even though there is NOTHING wrong with that team. It reminds me of when Rip, Chauncey, the 2 Wallaces and Prince broke up. I think they should have kept trying. Just add better 6th, 7th and 8th players to the team. And expect guys like Chet to do better next year.

What happened to Indiana? They were in the finals last year. Is Haloburton that good that without him they don't even make the play? 19-63 record

Who do the Lakers have. They have nobody except LeBron, who I hate by the way, but respect is due.

Lakers are currently beating the Rockets with no star players other than old man LeBron
The Los Angeles Lakers' ideal offseason means adding shooting, depth, and defense around Luka Doncic. Do not be surprised to see them retain Austin Reaves and LeBron James, while trading for two new starters. In the ideal world, the purple and gold get Christian Braun and Nic Claxton, along with improving their depth. This is a massive ask and likely costs LA their three tradeable first-round draft picks, but the Lakers have to be bold to build a title contender around number 77

Christian Braun from Denver

Nic is a 6'11 center playing for the Nets

So 3 white guys and 2 black guys.

They traded their center, Myles Turner I believe was his name, and basically punted on the season, knowing Haliburton would not play, and hoping for a high draft pick. They had a good shot at #1 overall but didn’t get it.

I heard them talking about this on the shows

The NBA has cracked down aggressively on teams intentionally losing games to secure high draft picks by passing the "3-2-1" lottery reform. To stop front offices from gaming the system, the league has severely flattened the odds of winning the top pick and implemented strict penalties, making full-season tanking a highly risky strategy

It bears repeating that OKC beat the Pacers in a game 7 finals last year to win it all when Haliburton went out, so they did not face the best Pacers team to win the championship.

This year they could not close the deal at home in game 7. They might need to tweak that team a little to get another title.

Williams was a non-factor with his hamstring injury and Chet was basically a no-show. If they get those guys where they should be, they should be fine.

Yea, I completely forgot about JWill, his absence was huge. I heard the other day that both he and Chet signed identical contracts last year, same length and pay.

Do the Knicks stay on their historic tear through the NBA playoffs? Game 1 will be really interesting. You have the Spurs coming down from the high of knocking off OKC and the Knicks possibly being flat from the layoff. I can't wait to see how the Spurs defend Brunson.
