With $10 million, they could easily insted have started an organization that brings a wide range of intelligent, honest, decent, rational and pragmatic people from across the political spectrum, with the stated purpose of opening up lines of communication, collaborating and innovating on new ideas to improve race relations in this country.

An early goal of such an organization, of course, would be to get both ends of this issue to honestly look in the mirror, admit the role they have played in exacerbating the problems, and clean their OWN house.

Giving a ton of cash to a reactionary organization on one (1) end of the issue won't accomplish that.
