NATO's Arctic Allies Outmatch the US in Polar Warfare Readiness

<~~~~~~~~~~>
I wonder how many Alaskan soldiers were involved in the exercise. Notably Finland has the most experience in artic/cold weather fighting.
Makes good sense to take advice and tips from them on maintenance and care of weaponry and materiel.

NATO without the US is fucked.
You liberals are ******* delusional. TAKE YOUR MEDS.
Have you noted how the US needs the use of allied bases to project air power against Iran? Which have been denied?

I bet Whisky Pete and Chump never thought of it either.

yeah, but admittedly, those allies are indeed F-ed without constant US military assistance.

NATO soldiers say they can't let their guns get too warm if they want them to work on frozen battlefields - Business Insider

I've been telling you Americans you need your allies more than you know for years now.
consider this the evidence please.
So does the EU have an army? Y/N?

Just an FYI, US Arctic airborne outfits thump the army guys all the time too.
Some units are more elite than others, the regular army guys are not the top of the food chain, but they train hard and are getting better

well, you Americans forced us into the corner of first having to support the rebellion in Ukraine by those nationalist western puppets Zelenskyy & co, and now raising our own armies again.

so a little less arrogance is surely warranted here, Americans

How did we force the EU into anything? I missed that. Last paper I remember was the 1994 Budapest Memorandum where we all gave Ukraine security guarantees if they gave up their nuclear weapons. After that Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, and then invaded in 2022.
The US protected the EU from the USSR and Russia since WW2, ~80 years, you're welcome.

Clean up your own backyard. Why should the US defend Europe when we get nothing in return?

yeah, and it's sincerely much appreciated.
i was born in 1977 and studied history, internet and web engineering, the arts of war, martial arts and pixel art creation, so i'm one of the wiser diplomats my continent can offer.
link in my diverse vocabulary, and i can be an asset to you all here.
i plan to stay such an asset.
but : don't think of me as expendable or too bothersome.
i'm also quite well versed in AIVD.nl and CIA.gov tradecrafts of various sorts.
an eternal student of the arts of mankind ;)

and like i outlined right from the start of Biden's 4yr Presidency, Russia needs the Black Sea secured. It needs the Ukraine lands it's conquered + the Donbass at least to maintain a healthy supply line to their naval bases on the shores of that sea.
or otherwise the Russian people are as much at the mercy of Westerners (and we're not always nice or reasonable, now are we?), as the Iranians are at the moment.

The American, Canadian, and European elites tricked us warriors, diplomats, regular businesspeople and civilians into protecting an imperialist quick massive landgrab of far-eastern European nations. not just Ukraine, the Baltic states too, leaving Belarus AND Moscow vulnerable. and that's simply UNACCEPTABLE TO ANY RUSSIAN NATIONALIST/TRADITIONALIST/CONSERVATIVE-MARXIST/COMMUNIST FAMILY. get it??

You and the EU intel agencies under your command installed popularity for all things western in those countries and then gave them puppet-mastered leaders (or so you thought, until Zelenskyy ripped us all off, which Trump luckily evened out by insisting succesfully on mineral and grain and wheat "contracts") and pro-western governments were eventually elected over there.

those were the last straws for the Russians.
i'm amazed and very appreciative for their patience.
all i want from them is to hold off on additional wars, despite the embargo-ing of Kaliningrad by the West.
i believe my own EU + USA elites want to annex Kaliningrad eventually, or "sway it to a pro-western government", and i find this -for now at least- a problem that's well worth my attention, but diplomacy often takes months or even years.

The US has an entire Light Infantry Division that is the most deployed in the Army. 10th Mountain Division out of Ft Drum NY. The time 4 years I spent there I saw whiteout conditions and subzero temperatures constantly. You don't know what the **** you are talking about.

well your squads failed their litmus test against troops from the other side of the world YET AGAIN. :p
Vietnam, Afghanistan... Greenland? :)

and eh, friendly warning : the Russians are breeding (noticed that on X) people. and they're probably expanding East of Moscow, to prep. in very cold land climate. as cold as Alaska. it's how they won the 2nd WW.

rule #1, grunts:
STFU in the presence of diplomats who can fight a good fight by themselves.
i don't need a squad, but i can take down a SWAT team by my lonesome. yes, probably really. of course i'd die in the next wave, and this was an entirely hypothetical translation of my own skills in martial arts (i started with Judo at the age of 6, but learned nin-jitsu, systema, pencak silar, karate, and ug from the netherlands, which are all military skills). point is : i've finally dared begin my filipino martial knife arts trainings, and that has somewhat revitalized my self-esteem.. ;-)

so, me armed only with alluminum armlength thin stick (curtain rod actually), and a steak-knife, and a good collection of fairly sized rocks; and the cops with full-auto machine guns and bulletproof shields.
and me the advantage of a staircase in the place where i sleep.

i'd honestly give myself good odds ;)

as to cage fights : i'd be a good contestant, but not the best out there.
too much risk for the rewards in that field to be making my money that way.

now you again, grunts who trained to slaughter (and also under a good chance of dying themselves) in large numbers with far superior weaponry.

You know the head of the nato military reports directly to Trump right? He was literally appointed by Trump

This move is what Trump wants

It is well understood that they pay minimum lip service to the system and privately think America is run by jack asses and other sorts of fool .

None of whom have experience of winning anything useful .
