Why don' t we have single payer auto purchases to? Imagine the benefits to society if once every 10 years the USG bought every Adult American a brand new car. American made only, of course..

Now to REALLY maximize the benefit to society we would have to split things up so that 10% of American adults got a new car every 10 years So you the USG is buying new cars for someone every year, rather than buying new cars for everyone on that 10th year.

Some crazy people think that dropping the military would magically pay for it. Socialist Bernie estimated that it would cost only 1.5 Trillion a year.

Bernie and friends could easily print an extra 1.5 Trillion, (or to use the correct numeration, "billion,") dollars. It's just paper, and of course they have the goods to back it up, because we all know the liberals will take care of us and give us everything we need.

Drop the military? We have too many enemies, domestic as well as foreign, for that.

Are you aware that the state of CALIFORNIA looked at UHC and found out it would DOUBLE their state budget? The costs are that much.

The only health care offered in the entire State of California is things like facelifts and a few nips and tucks for snowbirds, retirees, and movie actresses, unless you want all your teeth removed for implants or dentures or something like that. Circumcision for all the babies. Of course it's expensive.

There are many more. Take a look at healthy groups and you will find theytake care of themselves far better than the rest of the population.

You nailed it. People just need to get off the couch and start exercising more. Cancel that cable television subscription and buy a gym membership if you don't feel like exercising in the great outdoors. People who exercise don't usually overeat and they don't have time for cigarettes, either.

Huffing and puffing and out of breath, gotta take a smoke break and risk lung cancer?

And the rest of us are supposed to pay for it.

People are too damn "healthy" in California, like a bunch of HIV+ gentlemen from Toronto teaching a healthy lifestyle. And they all go to church, and they have a certain religion, which they interpret in a certain way, that allows them to impose their particular vices on unwilling others, while denying them their most basic rights, freedoms, and livelihood.

They make a religion out of their own health, but only in a certain way that allows them to live sumptuously and practice poor health habits while they poison others out of their health with the street drugs (including marijuana) that are so rampant in California.

Circumcision is expensive, and it does not benefit anyone. Even Moses himself railed against the medical doctors, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, wound for wound, skin for skin, and life for life, and he had Job to back him up.

For some reason there is no other option to regulate the practice of medicine. That would be a class action, but essentially all doctors and lawyers are defendants. It's class warfare, not a lawsuit. All doctors are good and kind, all lawyers are honorable in court, and you can't fight city hall. Think outside the box. I don't know what else.
