Watched it today, and it repeats tomorrow night .... Some beautiful dogs.
I always love dog shows, but much prefer the Westminster Show which is coming up Feb. 11 & 12.

I love the dog shows. They're so pampered and pretty, I didn't catch all of it so I'm recording it.

I am biased to always cheer for the Goldens and Newfoundlands.

A Samoyed should win every dog show.

I suppose this is a stupid question but here goes anyway.. was it on the Animal Planet chanel?

Have you ever noticed not one dog on these shows ever licks themselves? I just find that a little odd given mine can make a whole day doing that.

The greater spectacle is watching some of these owners/handlers try to jog around the ring with the dogs. Some of these folks are NOT in top shape to say the least.

Beneath his gentle, lamblike appearance, the Bedlington Terrier has the heart of a lion.

I am partial to the American Eskimo. I used to breed them. I miss it sometimes.

American Eskimo.. You breed them?
I am not sure how to take that....
