NASCAR 2025. Any fans here?

So Larsen was the first winner whose last name did not start with the letter B.

I sort of caught the post race interview with Alex Bowman. He acknowledged his mistake on turn 3, which quickly led to Larsen passing him. Bowman was fast, but it's very possible he gets passed even without that mistake. Still, the best drivers don't slip. That is the separation.

Martinsville is a great Saturday night track, but there is something to be said for racing on a Sunday afternoon in a sleepy town. I would just like to see Martinsville in a decent month. March can be too cold for racing (although this Sunday should be warm), but the fat fucks probably appreciate it.

btw, heard and interesting thing on radio's NASCAR live. They were discussing old timers who sort of tamed Darlington. Mark Martin won there 8 times before making the big level. That's impressive.

I've been to Darlington a couple of times. In one race, Erik Jones was leading Kyle Busch with laps winding down. You might expect Jones to not handle the track too tough to tame. I kept looking at turn two, hoping he would not wreck.

Jones did a masterful job. Busch is the one who ending up getting his stripe in turn two.

NASCAR just ain't what it used to be back in the day.
I don't watch it any more. I couldn't even tell you who the teams and drivers are these days.

Worse, none of the drivers I knew and liked are even around anymore.

I tried to watch NASCAR on TV the other week--- everytime I switched to the channel, all they were doing is standing around talking. And when you did catch them driving, it was either under a caution or going to a commercial, so I got tired of trying.

Random thought --they used to not race on Easter or Mother's Day. They scrapped that for while, but there is no racing Easter weekend this year. For Mother's Day, they'd race on Saturday nite. But now they are racing on Mother's Day this year. Duh.
