Nancy Pelosi: Smartest stock picker ever!

Yes and more republicans than dems do as well... your party is the market inside trading party.... and always has been...
List the Republicans that are for this.

I recall Democratic politicians many years ago proposing this very thing. Not so much from any Republican.

I recall Democratic politicians many years ago proposing this very thing. Not so much from any Republican.
Numerous Republicans in Congress support legislation to ban members from trading individual stocks, arguing the practice erodes public trust and presents an appearance of impropriety.
Key Republican proponents of a ban include:
  • Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL): Luna has been a vocal leader in this effort, recently moving a discharge petition to force a House floor vote on a stock trading ban bill.
  • Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX): Roy is a co-lead on the "Restore Trust in Congress Act," a bipartisan bill that consolidates several proposals to ban stock trading by members, their spouses, and dependents.
  • Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN): Burchett has actively worked with Luna to push for a vote and introduced a relevant bill in March 2025.
  • Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA): Fitzpatrick is a co-sponsor of the "Bipartisan Restoring Faith in Government Act," which aims to stop lawmakers from using their positions for personal gain through stock trading.
  • Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO): Hawley has been a long-time advocate for the ban in the Senate and introduced the "PELOSI Act" (Preventing Elected Leaders from Owning Securities and Investments).
  • Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC): Mace has also been involved in meetings with House leadership to discuss the push for a ban.
  • Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ): Crane signed onto Rep. Luna's discharge petition.
Recent Developments:
  • House Republican leadership, including Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader Steve Scalise, have committed to holding a vote on a new stock trading ban bill in early 2026.
  • The effort is strongly backed by the public, with a 2023 University of Maryland survey indicating that 87% of Republicans and 86% of all Americans support a ban.
  • President Donald Trump has also indicated he would sign a bill banning stock trades if it reaches his desk.
Proponents argue that lawmakers, who have access to nonpublic information and influence over legislation affecting the markets, should not be able to profit from individual stock trades.

There is always just enough that the bill will never pass but they can tell you all "well, we tried".

And damn if you do not fall for it every single time.

That was when Pelosi ran the congress... its a new day...
Republicans have changed a lot of rules for congressional representatives and their staff...
Its why dems hate Trump and MAGA so much... they can't admit that's why they hate MAGA so they make stuff up like.... fascist... racist and anti democratic and now unaffordable...... but it is why....

There is an account on X that tweets all of the trades she makes. In a way, it sucks that she's retiring.

Pelosi was never ever in office for the people... she was there for herself... to enrich her life... her father was the same as her... corrupt and greedy as hell...
She never believed anything she said publically... about the homeless or healthcare or the poor... she was only there to get rich... and that's what she did... its all she did...
I wonder... do her voters feel conned or are they that stupid... can they name one good thing she did?....

15th post
About 20 years ago a friend of mine wrote Pelosi a letter online... he was pissed about something but then he wrote that he knew what she was doing in the stock market and was going to make sure she went to prison for it one day... That he had the proof and would expose her...
Three weeks after his home was raided by the FBI... they took his computer and his personal files... some he never got back...
I saw the agents in military gear surrounding his home... of course they found nothing and had to apologize...
But we were both sure she sent them...
She was and is still an evil greedy *****...

Back up your recollections with facts. Do some listing yourself. Accountability is a great thing.
