We have a shortage of migrant workers in Colorado. The old way of doing things was to hire the "Illegals" coming up to work, house them, transport them and at the end of the season drive them back to the border so they could return with their money back to their families.

The problem is, the guest worker program is broken. The Politicians are playing games while the workers and jobs suffer big time. If the Texas and Florida Politicos spent half the effort in fixing the guest worker programs there would be a much smaller illegal immigrant problem because there would be a lot more green cards and workers benefitting the communities. Instead, the guest worker and immigration program continues to be broke and the various Politicos continue to use illegals (who are human beings) as pawns for their own benefits.
