I understand, yes the press live in their own world, sometimes we get ethical sensible reporting but at other times we get self censorship and selective reporting.
We needed national leadership at the last pandemic's outbreak but we didn't get that. Trump doesn't handle national crises well at all, he kept saying "it will just go away" for example and other petulant rants.
So if we get a serious national crisis again under him, it will play out the same way. He's already demonstrating this trait by "demanding" the Russia/Ukraine and Israel confrontations "reach an agreement" and other vacuities.
He hates problems and just tries to push them out of the way when they land on his desk, he just wants to play act as president because doing the job responsibly is beyond his abilities.
That's a man who has no leadership skills, denial and self delusion is how he gets through his pointless little life.
