My wife was spitting up blood yesterday morning and I called an ambulance. They worked on her last night and she has several problems:

  • They say she has COVID but it's not COVID19
  • The doctor told me she has a mass in her brain and a mass in her lung
  • Because of her age I really don't have any options other to start her on hospice care here at home
So if anyone is wondering why my Christmas spirit is in the crapper.....this is what I've been dealing with.
Hopefully she can come home next week and she can pass in peace here in our home.

Oh man! I'm sorry!

That bring back memories of my mom's last weeks. Are you going to have a hospice nurse come in?

Enjoy this time with her. Make it the best time you've both ever had! (I know that sounds dumb...but you can of you try).
I have to make some calls.

Sorry to hear that. At least it's gonna be you who's going to take care of her, not some stranger.
