I can understand why more and more Jewish people support President Trump and Republicans.
For a long time, Jewish people were solid liberals because they (or their family members) had come from European nations that had treated them very badly. So when Jewish people here in the United States saw injustice of any kind, they felt morally obligated to take action. During the 1960s, for example, some Jewish people were very active in the Civil Rights movement.
Nowadays though, some Jewish people, I think, are questioning whether or not certain social crusades really deserve their support. (Maybe physical attacks on them in New York City, for example, have caused them to do some soul searching.)
