My view of the United States Constitution

I'm calling you a lying twatwaffle.

Go fetch.
Are you going to allow me to call you a lying weasel when it would be so easy for you to humiliate me in front of the whole board!

Not like the old days when you could just ban me

He is only showing the number of people who signed a petition to repeal the Bill of Rights. I am confident that the number of people who refused to sign is larger.

Nevertheless, I would like to repeal several of the Bill of Rights. I would like to repeal the Second Amendment, for example. A reactionary Supreme Court could use the Tenth Amendment to repeal Social Security, Medicare, and most of the environmental regulations.

How did that go for the Aussies?

I say get rid of the 1st. Then revise it drastically. Remove the Shield law. No more anonymous "Sources." And all LIES disguised as "NEWS" should be a Felony. Leaking Confidential Information should be a LIFE term. And the Media PRINTING such info should be the END of that Media Source.

My view of the United States Constitution is literal and minimal. I believe that if the Constitution does not clearly say something, we should assume that the Constitution is silent on the matter and leave it up to the voters.
Codified constitutions are not flexible.

My view of the United States Constitution is very flexible: let the voters decide what the government is to do.
Don’t want some 18th century aristocrats telling us how to run our country

Like Locke and DesCart Hobbs and Rousseau
The social contract is a philosophical idea that people consent to give up some freedoms to a government in exchange for protection, order, and social benefits, forming the basis of modern governance, as explored by thinkers like Hobbes (strong state for security), Locke (protection of rights), and Rousseau (general will for freedom). It's an implicit agreement defining citizens' duties and rights and the state's role, shaping democratic ideals by grounding authority in the people's consent.

The intent of our founders was that non landowners could not vote, women couldn’t vote, people could be held in bondage.

That was their view of the world in the 1780s

We are a representative democracy, although I wish our government was more democratic. That is why I dislike the Supreme Court.

That's your view, but codified constitutions are not flexible.

Edit : You might want to work out what a constitution is.

You are in favor of abortion? What kind of sick person talks like that?
Few people are "in favor" of abortion, but many including myself recognize it as the right of the woman who happens to be pregnant at the time. Big difference between "being in favor of" and recognizing it as a right guaranteed by the Ninth Amendment.
