As we all know, Charlie Kirk was a man of deep Christian conviction and his call to ministry led him to discussions at college campus events. His assassination, and that's exactly what this was, was 100% political and perpetrated by yet another Leftist basket case. As I have been more politically astute since 2004, many of the great Conservative stalwarts, even from back in the days of the Firing Line and William F. Buckley, have been warning about the decidedly leftward/Communist lurch of the Democrat party. And this is what we have as a result today. Political violence equivalent to that of the 1960s.

In a country obsessed with guns, it’s hardly surprising that people see them as a means to an end.

We are awash with violence. The violence will continue until we decide that we’ve had enough.

Kirk’s death won’t change anything. I wish it would. The problem is that we have already had to endure far worse acts of violence and nothing has changed. Kirk himself said it’s a price worth paying.
