In fact new car dealers were telling all their customers who bought a new car in the past year, that they would buy them back at full price, so they had inventory to sell to new buyers at double price.

Had to take the wife to ER yesterday. She's ok but we stayed until midnight and we were starving. The only place open was McDonalds so I swung in and ordered a Big Mac Combo. FOURTEEN BUCKS for a regular size burger fries and drink! WooHoo let's hear it for the Biden/Harris Economy! No wonder half of Americans run out of money by the end of the month.

Back when i was working for McDonalds a Big Mac would cost you one whole dollar. Of course back then an ounce of gold was just under $400 an ounce, and gasoline was 35 cents. You can thank the progressive tricky Dick Nixon for taking US off the gold standard, so the progressives can spend US into bankruptcy.

Why are you complaining? You already said it was an emergency and you don't eat there very often anyway, so fourteen dollars for a delicious meal is not something you will indulge in very often.

Try to skip a meal to make up for that $14, it might prevent another trip to the ER.

I was still running for EMS, and so after a night of the usual debauchery decides to pitch for morning coffee for the crew (the ER being 1/4 mile away)

So here i am in the early morning asking for 4 coffees from some teenager
