Everyone has that fear. Its an obvious issue in the future if it isnt resolved. Dont you think Trump's team knows this? Trump can snap his fingers and end the trade war in a moment. He will hold these nations over the barrel until he has to stop. If he snaps his fingers, the economy will be roaring within 6 months. He has plenty of time before the midterms become an issue.

Trump can't think politics. The sooner he rips the band aid off the better. His answering questions every day is a big help.

I would have gone further against China but at least Trump is going heavy enough and negotiating with nations who are very weary of China such as Taiwan, Japan, S Korea etc.

Trump is both brave but also open minded so he deserves credit even if I dont agree with his flop flops at times. Trump ended up getting negotiations AND getting tariffs on China increased from 54% to 125%. Those who realize how dangerous China is can't complain about that outcome even if it wasn't intentional and the CCPs response induced that response, it's a better outcome for the world to have Chinas economy pay a price for their trading "methodology:"

I'm pretty confident Trump knows what he is doing. He doesn't intend this chaos to be anything other than temporary but it is necessary to restore national security and return us to a sustainable prosperous economy. I'm sure we'll see the turnaround within weeks or at least months. Maybe days. Today was a very good day.

And with a Speaker and Senate Majortity leader on board to make elections bullet proof as much as the law will allow, the Democrats will have a much tougher time cheating in 2028. If JD Vance or someone else with his mindset and temperament is elected in 2028 and again in 2032, we will have an excellent chance to restore America to the wonderful nation it was intended to be. If good MAGA people have Trump's back, we won't lose in 2026 or 2028.
